English term or phrase: obligation of reserve and duty
Hello Proz community!

"The protection of the Company's interests requires the following:
(...)
- observing the rules of professional ethics, deontology, as well as the obligation of reserve and duty in use within the Company"

I have regarding a doubt regarding this term, since -given the context- I can see the "reserve (discretion)" part, but not the "duty" one.
"Obligación de reserva y deber" sounds awfult to me. Any help?

Thanks
