English term or phrase: Benefits Base Rate (BBR)
I can't understand this part of the text! Can you help me with the translation?

Thanks

Your benefits base rate (BBR) is used to calculate your coverage under basic life and if elected the coverage amount and related premiums for optional life, optional AD&D, basic LTD, and optional LTD. Your BBR is a calculation of your current base salary plus your bonuses from a formal incentive plan during the prior 12 months to the maximum allowed under the plans.
