Explanation: Prorations are expenses, either prepaid or paid that are divided or distributed between buyer and seller at the closing. They are not necessarily divided in equal amounts.
Prorrated=prorrateado. In Mexico, most people usually say 'compartido'. Bankers prefer to use the term 'prorrateado'. The term can be associated to such words as 'intereses', 'gravámenes, 'exenciones', 'impuestos', etc.
