acusación oficial rechazada por un gran jurado (US)
Explanation:
Sorry, just to avoid confusion: I shoud have headed my answer above with "rechazada" instead of "aprobada" for the reasons I explained next. If there were a "true bill": aceptada; if "NO true bill": rechazada. Cheers :-)

acusación oficial aprobada por un gran jurado (US)

Explanation:
Hola. All that. And also "procesamiento", "acusación fundada", algo así como "indictment" (UK) ("documento inculpatorio"). But here it has not been "aprobada" (NO true bill), so "rechazar". Syntax attack: "Se retiraron todos los cargos luego de que el gran jurado rechazara los fundamentos de la acusación oficial". Grand Jury can also be "jurado de acusación". There are Internet sources, but wouldn't vouch for them, context is everything and they don't say much on this. I'd rather go for a competente dictionary (i.e.: refª 1) and some good Law theory book for translators (ie: refª 2). I used them to answer your question...and any on Law, and I'm not the only Prozer doing it. Gotta read, then do your best . Second one is particularly helpful for translators who want to seek gold in the mud. Ariel has a website: www.ariel.es . No, they don't pay me for this, not even kudoz. Good luck with it, cheerio :-)
