English term or phrase: Conclude a contract
To conclude a Contract

Gracias
kylie
Spanish translation:Formalizar un contrato
Explanation:
Hola. Formalizar un contrato, llevarlo a término, celebrarlo, concertarlo o subscribirlo. Otherwise it would be "terminate a contract" (terminar, finalizar, concluir).

Explanation:
When they say "conclude" a contract they mean to complete it to the end and this ends with the signing of the same by the parties therein. In some other places they say "execute a contract".
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Terminar un contrato

Explanation:

Explanation:
To conclude a contract is not to "terminate" a contract.

Ver:

"(Conclusion of contract dependent on agreement on specific matters or in a specific form)
Where in the course of negotiations one of the parties insists that the contract is not concluded until there is agreement on specific matters or in a specific form, no contract is concluded before agreement is reached on those matters or in that form.

COMMENT
1. Conclusion of contract dependent on agreement on specific matters
As a rule, a contract is concluded if the parties reach agreement on the terms which are essential to the type of transaction involved, while minor terms which the parties have not settled may subsequently be implied either in fact or by law. See comment 1 on Art. 2.2 and also Arts. 4.8 and 5.2.

Illustration
1. A agrees with B on all the terms which are essential to their intended contract for the distribution of A’s goods. When the question subsequently arises of who should bear the costs of the publicity campaign, neither party may claim that no contract has come into existence by reason of the silence of the contract on this point, as the missing term is not essential to the type of transaction in question and will be implied in fact or by law."

"Conclusion of Contracts - Letters of Intent and Other Non-binding Documents
The first question that I have chosen to discuss is the question of conclusion of contracts and especially letters of intent and other non-binding contracts.
1.1 The European Experience
In Europe, the use of letters of intent and other non-binding documents is frequent. The reason for this is that it might be practical in many situations to be able to specify in a document the common intentions of two or more parties and the major conditions for e.g. a proposed transaction, without necessarily being legally bound by the conditions set out in such a document. This is for example the case in connection with a transfer of shares or business from one company to another. It is practical to be able to state in a document, that the parties intend to negotiate a deal and how the negotiations and the proposed transaction shall be successfully completed. Should it later turn out that it was not possible to agree on the contemplated deal, no party can claim compensation from the other for breach of contract.

The programme "Life Sciences and Technologies for Developing Countries" (STD) (part of FP3) included all developing countries and aimed to stimulate cooperation between experts in DCs and European scientists to find solutions to the problems specific to DCs. It used a thematic approach over 2 domains (agricultural production and health, including related environmental problems) which are important to all developing countries, regardless of their level of development. In the course of 3 calls for proposals, (1991, 1992, 1993), 2050 proposals were received, leading to the conclusion of 297 contracts involving 1372 research teams with a community contribution of 112.15 MECU. This programme, being the only one of its kind, has had a major effect on scientists in the South, since unlike other programmes such as those of the UN family, their full participation in projects is a prerequisite."

Explanation:
Entonces, "rescindir" (cancel, cause rescision of).
"Concluir un contrato" prácticamente significa el contrario.
