SEE EXPLANATION Explanation: Hi transbc! This is a hard one to nail down in Spanish. A Google search didn't give me any clues as to an exact translation into Spanish. However, I did find the following (in English) which explains exactly what this is: "Generation skipping is simply the passing of property from a person in one generation to a person at least two generations younger, with some control or enjoyment of the property first going to a person of an in between generation". Also: "A Generation Skipping Transfer Tax (GSTT) was introduced by the Tax Reform Act of 1976" See: http://www.financialstrategies.com/encyclopedia/legal/estate... From this, my roughly translated explanation would be: "impuesto federal sobre los fideicomisos de herencias trans-generacionales". I hope this helps:-) terry Above |
