Law/Patents
English term or phrase: Chancellor, Provost, Regent
These are different kinds of officers of a University organized as a nonprofit corporation, in which The Board of Directors is known as THE BOARD OF REGENTS. Besides there is a President of the University and a Chancellor. I can't figure out the difference in meaning between President and Chancellor. Can you give me a definition and a possible translation. Besides this University is related to THE CHURCH OF CHRIST , so I don't know exactly if they can refer to the ranks in a University or at a Church.
By the way, is the Church of Christ the same than The Church of Christ, Scientist?

Canciller, Preboste, Regente

Explanation:
"Board of Regents" comes from "table-of" means Comitee of Regents

There is no difference in meaning between "President" and "Chancellor". Soime Universities use on term others the other.

They definitely refer to very common ranks in an University (not in a Church).

By the way, is the Church of Christ the same than The Church of Christ, Scientist? << Sorry, I don't know.

Good luck!
