Propiedad Intelectual / Derechos de Autor y Marcas de Fabrica/ Patentes

Explanation:
It is up to the translator who posess the document to select the proper definition in Spanish. My father, who was an author y composer used to claim his propriety own rights in Buenos Aires, Argentina as an Author and a Composeron his music. I can only imagine it is the same for writers and inventors.

derechos exclusivos derivados de la propiedad intelectual e industrial

Explanation:
I believe "own" refers to the fact that some of the rights have not been asigned (exclusivos. "Intellectual Property" comprises copyright, trademarks and patents. At least in most of the Latinamerican countries, these rights are governed by distinct laws, that is "Propiedad Intelectual" for copyrights, and "Propiedad Industrial" for trademarks, tradenames, service marks, patents, utility models, and the like. Hope it is of any help.
