Marketing / Anti-cancer educational campaign
English term or phrase: The Big Bam! Self-Exam

Explanation:
I'm really stretching it here, but I wanted to incorporate the "Bam" somehow and because of the use of "chequear" in the US....

suerte

Explanation:
It´s been a long time since I´ve contributed in this site and am not familiar with the changes. Anyway, it seems that I accidentaly pressed the X at the bottom of the screen and hid the answer from everyone so it seems. SORRY!

It seems to me that Big Bam is the name of a foundation. If indeed it is a proper name, do you want to translate it to spanish anyway? or a I missing the point? (which is not an impossibility).

If that´s the case, here´s an idea since it says that this brochure is the brainchild of a woman affiliated with Rethink.

¡Piénselo bien! Autoexamine sus senos.
¡Pnesándolo bien! Autoexamine sus senos.

Big Bam! Events Format

The Big Bam! Foundation, Inc. was formed to educate young women and provide awareness to the public with respect to the growing health concern of breast cancer in women under age 40. Big Bam! Foundation achieves its goals by hosting entertaining, appealing events that serve the dual purpose of raising funding while delivering valuable educational material to young women. The foundation has contributed to various organizations such as SHARE, which provides self-help and support groups for young women, and The Pink Ribbons Project, which in partnership with Cancercare, grants services for women with cancer without health insurance.

Breast cancer month comes early this year with the launch of a new charity that's all dressed up and ready to roll this week. Rethink is partially the brainchild of Mary-Jo DeCoteau, an enthusiastic young woman determined to bring a new face to breast cancer.

In the works is a fun, colourful brochure called The Big Bam -- Self Exam done in pumpkin and pink colours with cartoon drawings. It actually comes from a New York organization, but Rethink will partner with them on the card. "It's straightforward, but in a package that's warm and inviting," she says.

Hope this helps,

¡ A mirar y a tocar !

Explanation:
Hola Yolanda,

Saludos,
Bertha

Explanation:
It was fun coming up with different phrases. I agree with you about the translations done in the US. Sometimes it gets a little stuffy in here, too!
