Must say I haven't found the full phrase including "soporte" but as you may notice in link 1 (and if you google it you'll find it too several times for different items), this term is well used for "holder". You may want to use "caja" and "compartimento" (but these two do not imply the existence of an opening for the blinker)...wouldn't do it myself. Proof for LED is in link 2.
