Medical - Medical: Health Care / smoking
English term or phrase: getting ready to get ready
it's for a health education bochure, the catchy phrase is:
getting ready to get ready to quit smoking
I don't find a good translation, help!!!!
Linda
Spanish translation:Preparándose para dejar de fumar
Explanation:
I don't think you need the double "get ready" to be reflected in spanish. sounds too wordy.

preparandote para la preparacion para dejar de fumar

Explanation:
It sounds like a catch phrase, which means that although you would need to translate accurately, you still want to maintain the catchy intent for the brochure. This would be the closest wordy catch-phrase, closest to your term. You would need to see if it fits the flow of your brochure.

It is not just a starting sentence, but also a play on words. You want to try and keep that while maintaining the translation text.

prepararse para estar listo

Explanation:

No presionar. Y esta frase no presiona ni obliga ni siquiera da una orden.

Suerte, mmm
