Explanation:
Células cebadas (una variedad de leucocito con granulaciones en su protoplasma)
Basically, a tissue cell that is a primary participant in immediate hypersensitivity reactions. Mast cells make and release histamine and other mediators of inflammation.

Explanation:
Yo creo que la traducción más correcta y empleada es "mastocitos". Yo misma tuve mis dudas porqué me apareció en un libro que tuve que traducir sobre asma y alergias y es verdad que en Sudamérica y a veces los propios médicos suelen darles distintos nombres, pero creo que "mastocitos" es la mejor.
