English term or phrase:INCENTIVE SPIROMETRY INSTRUCTIONS
Instrucciones para los ejercicios pulmonares con espirómetro
Explanation: The term incentive spirometry in English is used by respiratory therapists and physicians to indicate exercises that expand the lungs (post-operatively), by means of a device called an incentive spirometer. I am unaware of the existence of any special Spanish adjective that would function in the place of "incentive". In addition, in English a formal spirometry implies the actual measurements of pulmonary function that are made with the special device called a spirometer. The device used for "incentive spirometry" does not actually perform any measurement, it only serves to provide a pressure resistance against which the patient can attempt to expand their lungs.
