Medical
English term or phrase: Patient lifter
This is a piece of equipment that hoists patients up and down, eg off beds. It is operated via a motor and remote control handset. I think the patient either sits in it or lies on it, a button is pressed and the machine raises or lowers the patient. Would something like "monta-enfermo" be appropriate? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Sarah

Spanish translation:see below - it is the same principle as hoisting cargo from a dock to a ship.
Explanation:
I am a medical interpreter for workmen compensation cases and attend patients in hospitals, clinics, therapy and yes at home when they cannot attend outside appointments due to the severity of their injuries and do not need hospitalization. One of my patients is a quadriplegic and we use this device with him.
