English term or phrase: Liver Native - Liver CM
It's a radiology device to analyse different parts of the body, amongst which a "Liver native" and a "Liver CM". These should be a liver that needs a transplantation, and the other one that is to be transplanted. But I am not sure. Is there an MD in the plane? And I need the exact term in Spanish. If you search on the web, you shall see that there are very few references.

Hígado nativo - Hígado, margen costal
Explanation:

Exact context, please.

Explanation:
Could you provide us with a piece of the sentence as it appears in the source text?

"Native liver" is logical, but not liver native.
And "Liver CM" only seams to mean the liver dimensions. The exact context may help to find out the actual meaning. Thank you.

Thank you.

Higado del paciente receptor- Higado del donante.

Explanation:
Sorry, my wife who is an MD is sound asleep. For the time being, this is my gut feeling...until she wakes up:

Liver native is "el higado del paciente
receptor"
and Liver CM is "el higado del donante"
based on the euphemism of Liver "Corpus
Mortem" or liver of the body that is to die, the donor. You know how Latin helps on
medical euphemisms. More on this, in a
few hours. I will try to get back, with a definite answer.

Explanation:
No. My wife has not heard the term either but
it must be a British term.

Hígado nativo

Explanation:
Hígado propio del paciente, a diferencia de un hígado que le haya sido transplantado. Supongo que se tratará de una lista en que aparezcan los órganos factibles de transplantar y que quieran establecer una diferencia entre uno y otro. Espero que te ayude. Buena suerte.
