Obviously I did not provide enough context the first time. I apologize. I am not referring to "high blood sugar content" but to the feeling of euphoria when the level does peak. The feeling of "getting high" like "drogado" except that this feeling is from sugar levels.
The whole sentence is "You get a quick sugar high, then your blood sugar level plummets."

Explanation: Sometimes a translation is not a good option if there is an equivalent expression in another language. The feeling you describe would be told as in this sentence... in Spanish if we say that our sugar went up... that is definitely not good, it tends to be about health...
