Is the correct translation of the above term "tos ferina"? Also, is it more accurate to say "infeccion de pecho", or "infeccion pectoral" to mean chest infection?

I think it should be: infección respiratoria and not "infección de pecho or pectoral"

Thank you very much for your help. I also thought that the term was just one word, but I have checked in various dictionaries (not specialised though), and they all give it as two different words..

Bueno, ya he visto su segundo mensaje con la correccion. Lo que me quiere decir con la rectificacion es que la mejor traduccion es tos ferina (dos palabras) o tos convulsa?
