English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Medical
English term or phrase: end-tidal value
Refers to measure of CO2 in a patient´s blood and specifically to a waveform graph plot. It hasnothing to do with sea tides.
leomar
Spanish translation:See below
Explanation:
The only reference I could find too referred to "tidal volume" F. Navarro in his Dicc. critico de duas de medicina dice lo siguiente: "tidal volume [Resp] Evitese el anglicismo "volumen tidal" para referirse al volumen de aire movilizado durante una respiracion normal, que puede traducirse por "volumen corriente"

When I searched the medical online diccionary for "tidal volumen" it gave me the definition "lung capacity"

I do not know if all this can help you any, but, if it does, great!

Happy translating! ;o)

Gracias Maria. Coincide con lo que finalmente encontré en el Diccionario Politécnico de F.Beigbeder: Tidal volume = volumen total de la respiración.

PERDONEN COLEGAS, PERO...

Explanation:
LA MEDICIÓN DE CO2 A LA CUAL SE REFIERE MI PREGUNTA ES EN LA RESOPIRACIÓN... Y NO EN LA SANGRE. MIS DISCULPAS.
