English term or phrase: people pleaser
your ultimate desire in life is to please others and be miserable yourself

sobreadaptado
Explanation:
"Tu mayor deseo en la vida es dejar contentos a los demás y vos (tú), en cambio, sufrir."

I'm giving you the translation of sentence and a "diagnosis" for a people pleaser: in psychology this is called "sobreadaptación" (see site in the reference). If you need to translate "people pleaser" in a different register, please give us the whole sentence.
And another thing: if your translation is for Argentina, or at least for Buenos Aires, this type of psychological jargon often falls out of our mouths before we know it, so it wouldn't be uncommon, although of course it is aggressive (as is people pleaser).
