Necesito ayuda compañeros médicos/profesionales de la salud:

no encuentro una traducción para "suppressed" porque no entiendo muy bien el concepto (inhibida, deprimida, debilitada, suprimida, eliminada?)

Y ¿"function" es simplemente "función"? ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre immune function and immune response?

Lo primero que te tengo que decir es que lo correcto inmunitario (relativo a la inmunidad) y no inmune (que es resitente a la enfermedad).
Lo segundo es sobre la controversia de depresión y supresión.
Supresión se debe reservar para el tratamiento que anula totalmente la respuesta inmunológica que es lo que en inglés se llama immunoablation y depresión debe reservarse para aquellas condiciones o tratamientos en las que se disminuye la capacidad inmunitaria.
