En el mismo texto, utilizan "bottoms" and "soles" of your feet, pero no como sinónimos. Entonces, no sé cómo traducir "bottoms". ¿Es la parte inferior del pie?

Un ejemplo:
claramente no hace referencia a las plantas de los pies, porque "bottoms" se refiere a la parte baja del interior del pie.

Aunque este enlace es de otra cosa, deja claro que "bottom" (parte inferior del pie) y "sole" (suela) no son lo mismo.
