Y añado que en español los nombres están cambiados con respecto al inglés. "Anthrax" es carbunco y "carbuncle" es ántrax.

En español, se escriben exactamente al revés porque es lo que significan. El carbunco es una zoonosis que se adquiere sobre todo en el campo, mientras que el ántrax es un infección relativamente común cuyo sitio de asiento es la axila y resulta de la fusión de varios forúnculos. El agente etiológico de éste es el estafilococo dorado y el de aquél es Bacillus anthracis.
