This is a phrase that occurs over and over in the document I am translating. I am looking for a pithy way to translate it. Is it ok to just abbreviate it to "tarjeta" for the multitudinous repetitions?

Yo sugeriría que la primera vez que aparezca el término lo coloques completo, y sucesivamente puedes colocar "tarjeta para fármacos/medicamentos" o simplemente "tarjeta", dependiendo del texto en general.
