grado de la mineralización de corte.


Explanation:
En el yacimiento se evalúa el título del mineral.
El título de corte de un mineral, es el mineral cuyo contenido es tal que deja de ser rentable para su beneficio.
Si el título del mineral es bajo y está por debajo del título de corte, su extracción deja de ser rentable y se debe detener la extracción.

Lo que quiere decir es que hay grandes diferencias entre la ley o contenido de mineral (grade) para valores de fondo (background), y la ley o contenido mínimo de corte, que es la ley mínima a la que el depósito o yacimiento mineral es económicamente explotable.

Ejemplo, leyes por abajo de 0.5 gr/ton de Au, pueden ser considerados valores de fondo (background)

Pero leyes por arriba de 0.5 g/ ton de oro como contenido mínimo de mineral, ya son rentables. La ley de corte, por lo tanto, es de 0.5 g/ton
Un ejemplo nomás, no aplicable a la realidad pues actualmente se oye de leyes de corte o marginales de 0.3 g/ton en el caso del oro...
