See below Explanation: Referrin to relar races, I got this: Baton = Posta (it is the stick that is passed on in relay races). Anchor leg = is the last leg, final stage, the anchor man is the runner that last takes the baton to arrive at the finish line. For this term I suggest: la última pierna o la última etapa. I prefer the first one. So the phrase would be: toma la posta para la última pierna. Hope it helps. |

toma el testigo para la ultima etapa Explanation: The posta refferred to in another answer is a relay race on horseback - I know this for certain because we had postas every Sunday all my youth after the charreadas (rodeos) and I won my share. Pierna doesn't translate like that - they wouldn't know what you're talking about. Hope this helps! Suerte! |
