English term or phrase: Beating Home a Message
It is the header of an article about worker rights in México: Some workers in Tijuana were beaten.

Machacando el mensaje

Explanation:
It is the only thing that comes to my mind that has both the meaning of "repeating to make clear" and "beating up". I hope it helps.
Good luck,

Hacer entender a golpes

Explanation:
I think that would be a good translation. Or you could also say "dar a entender a golpe".
Good luck!

Explanation:
It's me again. I made a typo on my previous message. It should be "dar a entender a golpes". I would also like to say that using the gerund for titles in Spanish is not a very good style, unlike English.
