English term or phrase: NVOCC
Intermodal cargo can be shipped through an NVOCC and you will save money.
Vilma Pineda
Spanish translation:No se traduce: queda NVOCC
Explanation:
Es un término de transporte. Las abreviaturas no cambian entre idiomas. Aquí tienes la explicación de lo que es: non-vessel operating common carrier (a) A common carrier providing point-to-point international transport of goods. (a) Note(s): This type of carrier may not actually operate any transport equipment, acting instead as a coordinator among actual carriers. For example, an NVOCC might issue a door-to-door transport document from Saint-Louis to Munich, contracting with road hauliers to take the goods to the U.S. pier and from the European pier, as well as with the ocean carrier to move goods across the ocean. The NVOCC will issue its own door-to-door transport document from origin to destination, assessing one charge for the entire movement. The principal value of the NVOCC is in providing door-to-door transportation service, especially to smaller firms or those with a limited knowledge of transportation services. The term "NVOCC" when used as defined in the 1984 Shipping Act of the U.S.A. refers to non-vessel operating common carrier "by water" who undertakes ocean transport only, while in other parts of the world NVOCCs mean "non-vessel operating multimodal transport operators" (NVO-MTO). Meaning Non-Vessel Operating Cargo Carrier

Explanation:

Buena Suerte!

wild guess: Contenido organico no volatil

Explanation:
The English acronym VOC stands for Volatile Organic Content. The thematic context is not provided in the paragraph above, and it is not clear that Chemistry or Chemical terminology is involved. IF IT IS, then "Contenido organico no volatil" may be a good approximation.

Transporte sin envase operado por el Portador Comun

Explanation:
'NVOCC' is a widely accepeted acronym but this traslation has been widely accepted by Mexican Customs Brokers.
Some of the web pages of NVOCC operators are missing parts of the definition. So, I don't recommend those web sites.
