Explanation:
Songs are like poetry...even though the correct translation is the above mentioned, it may not be what it means. I would have to hear the whole song to be able to give you the right answer. Can I get the name of the song? To give you an idea, maybe it is all about a person asking the other for a chance to be part of her/his live...after some sort of a bad relationship...
