Yo siempre he traducido "events" como "circunstancias" en un contexto de contabilidad, pero sobre todo porque he visto esta palabra relacionada con "assets" (circunstancias de un activo son la depreciación, la baja...). Pero es este caso no se refiere a activos sino a planes de venta y de sucursales, así que yo lo traduciría "actividades" u "operaciones", como también lo he visto en la base terminógica de la Unión Europea:

En mi segunda referencia:
