English term or phrase: "working aged"

TEFRA requires employers of 20 or more employees to offer their "working aged" employees and their spouses aged 65 and over the same Employer Group Health Plan (EGHP) offered to other employees.

The definition of working aged includes the following:

Those aged 65 or over who are actively working for employers with 20 or more employees.
Those aged 65 or over with employed spouses of any age, including self-employed spouses who have group health plans.

Agradecería sobremanera cualquier ayuda que me pudieran prestar.

Be careful though; I don't think, in fact I'm pretty sure that it does NOT include the spouses. The web definitions you have selected seem like definitions from a social security/pension fund point of view (where whether someone's spouse works is an important factor in determining pensions and other rights etc). On the face of it, 'working aged' is precisely that - older (pensioner-age) persons who continue working.

Maybe your context requires a reference to spouses, but on the face of it, this expression does not include spouses

I had to include the "cónyuges" bit because it was required by the context. Thanks for the input!

Explanation:
Hi,

I found the following:
Web site:

El inglés es:
The Commission will shortly make a proposal for a Decision providing for further Union-wide measures to help meet the challenges of an ageing population covering, in particular, the role and contribution of the active retired population.

¡Suerte!
