Explanation:
si se trata de automovilismo, una llanta "usada" ofrece mejor tracción que una nueva. En las carreras de autos sobre pistas pavimentadas secas no se utilizan las llantas con "dibujo", sino las llamadas "slicks", que son lisas. Estas cubiertas lisas requieren un ligero desgaste para "agarrarse" mejor a la superficie de la pista.
