Transversalidad de género


Explanation:
La Transversalidad de Género o Mainstreaming de Género (término anglosajón acuñado en la IV Conferencia de la ONU en Pekín de 1995 y asumido por la Unión Europea en su IV Programa de Acción Comunitaria de Igualdad de Oportunidades entre Hombres y Mujeres) es una nueva estrategia de apoyo a medio y largo plazo, pues supone acabar con las barreras estructurales que impiden una mejor distribución de los papeles asignados a hombres y mujeres.
