 Spanish translation:para calcular el conteo del centésimo día Explanation:I agree with clauesteve here. Notre Dame Fighting Irish is the name of Notre Dame University athletic teams. I wouldn't translate it, maybe add an explanation. Check the first link for more explanation and info. For the "bowls", I think you don't need to translate them, since sports fans use them in English. With the google search in Spanish you get some examples. Best regards, Patricia

Hi Daphne,
a)100th day count: I'd use calcular el conteo en en (del) centésimo día;
b)seems like it's a team,since in Mexico they usually adapt the names I'd put something like los Guerreros Irlandeses de Notre Dame (and, for safety, put the whole thing in English in parenthesis);
c) Here in Mexico sportscasters call it Tazón, as in Súper Tazon, el Tazón de las Rosas although they usually say the name in English afterwards (Ifrankly don't know why, everyone knows what it is...)

Explanation:
2- si Notre Dame Fighting Irish viajan de South Bend
3 - Juego de Bol
4 - Super Bol
5 - Ros Bol
Like she/he said, sportscasters and noticieros tend to use "bol" rather than tazon - also they tend to use the name in English as it is rather than translate it - BUT they also Do translate them whenever they want.- it's like interchangeable.. I'm from Minnesota and sometimes on Univision I'll hear about the "Tweens" and sometimes the "Gemelos" Same as the " Bol" instead of " Tazon" thing. When it comes to being bilingual the Latinos are up on the rest of us as they have incorporated the English into their own venacular. If this is a test of some teacher it's not fair as these current affair names may or may not be translated at all. I've heard and seen it both ways on Mexican television and in print.. So good luck to you! Hope this hel[ped you some!
