recorrido o revisión de seguridad de la empresa o compañía Explanation: As a safety consultant, the term walk-through means a pre-inspection. Walk-throughs are usually done before a safety inspection is due in the company. Usually the company's safety consultants or someone hired outside the company performs this walk-through. In a walk-through the consultants are looking for things that need fixing, replacing, cleaning or arranging, looks at all PPE available to the employees to make sure that is in good conditions, makes sure that employees are using their PPE, etc. As a bilingual safety consultant we call it "Revisión de Seguridad de la Compañia" o "Recorrido de la Compañia". We do walk-throughs before the inspection due date. The actual OSHA Safety Inspection its called "Inspección de Seguridad por OSHA". Good Luck! |
