Actually, the whole sentence reads: "Utilisation of Wind Energy at the Giers". Is "Giers" a region/area in Mongolia? I would appreciate a translation for both terms Wind Energy and Giers (if any exists).
Thank you so much
wind energy is energía eólica
I have not found Giers to be a region in Mongolia. There is a Giers in France, but I am not sure if that is what you need.
It seems to be a quite popular surmane. I cannot tell you more than that.
I hope it helps!
Explanation: English: winding tackle;
Spanish: aparejo real;
Italian: paranco triplo, caliorna;
Portuguese: talha tripla, estralheira, aparelho real;
Finnish: väkitalja , vetotalja ;
Aunque se trate de un Apellido bastante conocido y algunas regiones se llaman con dicho nombre, me inclino a pensar que se trata del término náutico y eólico "APAREJO REAL".
Explanation: After "Eolo", god of the wind in ancient mythology.
Check this link, it's about an association in the Gier Valley in France, hope it helps.
Anyway, searching the web gives "Gier" mainly as different people's name. What's the whole context of your text??
