English term or phrase: soft light crown sugar
qu ser 1 tablespoon soft light crown sugar???
es para hacer un adobo para carne y la receta es de UK...
buceo
Spanish translation:brown sugar
Explanation:
Creo que puede ser una errata. en ese caso sería azucar moreno ligera y suave.
Soft Light Brown Sugar
The ideal ingredient for cake making. Based on Caster sugar, a fine crumb texture and excellent cake volume is achieved. The molasses will provide delicate flavour, colour and tenderness. The fine particle size ensures rapid dissolving for syrups, sauces, caramels and toffees. The colour and flavour of cakes, American style products e.g. Toffee Pecan Pie, desserts and cereal bars are all enhanced by this sugar.

Azúcar Crown

Explanation:
Me parece que es un tipo o una marca de azúcar, no un error. Yo también lo hubiera pensado.

azucar morena fina

Explanation:
I go the the supermarket in the UK every few weeks (the less often the better but I can not avoid going there to shop for food!)

There is a Crown sugar, but this is unlikely to be the answer as it would say Crown sugar (capital C). Unless this is a comercial book with many trade names, it is more plausible to be sugar with a fine grai. You can use coarse or fine sugar in a cake. You can also get varierities of brown sugar (e.g. demerara) which is a slightly 'wet' sugar with lots of aroma and nearly melting.

azúcar moreno fino

Explanation:
My guess is, there is a mistake, and it should say "brown" instead of "crown". (Unless it's the Crown-Sugar-Company who wants the translation, so they insist their product is being used in the recipe, as f.ex. Oetker, Swiss Company)
In Spanish it would be:
azúcar moreno fino (el azúcar)
or you could also apply
azúcar de caña fino
both stand for brown sugar, in Southamerica you'd definitely would use the word "azúcar de caña"

hope it helps
good luck

1 day 1 hr
azucar mascabado

Explanation:
es lo que yo compro cuando la receta pide 'light brown sugar'. Otro problema es con 'tablespoon'. Según uno de mis libros de cocina británicos, 1 tablespoon equivale a 3 teaspoons, es decir tu receta pide 3 cucharaditas.

Provecho.
