Explanation:
All proposed answers are good, but I would include somewhere the idea that it is a HIDDEN or PROTECTED reading of the e-mail, as when you SCREEN something, you are examining it before letting anyone else see it in case there may be damaging/sensitive material.

Since I don't know how the rest of your document reads, you may also consider using FILTRAR if someone is screening e-mails that will then be passed along to others, because that is essentially what they are doing.
