English to Spanish translations [PRO]
English term or phrase:Contributions-in-kind
"....private donors may offer fellowships (contributions-in-kind), or, may finance fellowships (cash contributions) ...."
Explanation: I don't believe that "aportaciones" is in any way exclusive to peninsular Spanish.
Without going into its frequency in Latin American Spanish, I would say that both these words are equally current in Mexican Spanish - and indeed a quick search through 51 Mexican laws shows them exactly tied at 164 instances each.
So there :)
