Explanation:
Me da la sensación de que están tratando de levantar un barco con "eslingas" (lifting belts). Por eso dice que coloques una delante del "log impeller"

Es muy probable que se esté refiriendo al "rotor de la corredera" o "rodete de la corredera"

"impeller" puede ser "rotor", "rodete", "turbina", "rueda de paletas", "impulsor", e incluso "hélice"

Con "log" se está refiriendo a la corredera; que, en náutica, sirve para determinar de modo aproximado la velocidad en nudos del barco.

Así pues, tendrás que ver el contexto; me inclino por el "rotor de la corredera".

En la segunda referencia podrás ver una corredera y verás el "rodete" a que me refiero. Prefiero llamarlo "rodete" y no hélice, como hace la referencia, para no confundirlo con la "hélice" impulsora del barco, que seguro que le tuyo la tiene.
