English term or phrase: non-expendable
non-expendable support equipment

Which is the correct translation, equipo no fungible or equipo no perecedero? Is there a difference?
Maria Paz
"no fungible" or "imprescindible"; "indispensable"; or "insustituible"
Explanation:
Use "no fungible" if the equipment is non-disposable. Use either "imprescindible" or "indispensable" if the process requires this support equipment. Perhaps you may prefer to use "insustituible" which has a meaning somewhere inbetween these terms.

"Perecedero" is usually used for organic materials, such as foods and chemicals, which spoil or have an expiration period.

Good luck!
