English term or phrase: home run (in baseball)

Explanation:
these terms all mean home run in Spanish. take yer pick. it would appear that the first to anglicized versions are more common though, especially in an informal register.

"carrera" can mean "run" (as in, "he scored a run", or "he has ten runs") note: in the latter case, it is extremely important that "the" NOT be subsituted for "ten."

Home run

Explanation:

Suerte,

BD
