Explanation:
Quizás tenga razón Fronterizo, pero hasta donde yo entiendo "managing" se refiere más al nivel gerencial/jerárquico del Director, y por lo tanto no se traduce usualmente como "Administrativo" sino como "Ejecutivo".

Valdría la pena que consultes algunos diccionarios para estar segura.

Todo depende de la descripción de las funciones en el CV.

El Director Administrativo se ocupa más de cuestiones contables y financiera.

El Gerente General, su mismo título lo describe.

Pareciera que hay tantas soluciones como traductores hay. Propongo "director gerente" pues es el término que se emplea en una importante revista de mercadeo y así lo dice en su glosario, realizado por una traductora que respeto por su amplia experiencia y conocimientos (ver referencia), es lo indica el Diccionario de Informes Financieros de Cooperes & Lybrand.

Ahora bien, el Diccionria Empresrial de la Standford Business School ESPAÑA, dice: Managing Director (UK): Consejero Delegado!!!

Explanation:
Director General is different from Director Ejecutivo as mentioned above.
Managing Directors are not necessarily on the board and are always full-time employees whereas Executive Directors are board members and aren't always paid.

Creo que todos estamos un poco despistados incluyéndome a mí, hay muchos títulos que además varían de un país a otro en cuanto a la función que representan, y lo más importante es que corresponda a la función que representa en el país de destino.

Siempre me ha dado problemas este término pero pienso que lo anterior o algo por el estilo podría ser adecuado.
