Es una forma horrenda (en mi modesta opinión) de transformar "to and from" en una forma verbal. Pero depende mucho del contexto, puede significar "intercambio de ideas", "intercambio de mensajes", e incluso "ir y venir".

neutral  Andy Watkinson: David, you don't seem familiar with this expression. Not "sentirse indeciso". It denotes a great deal of activity (decisive or otherwise) alternating between places, people, etc.... Quite common. IN this particular case, David, I don't need Webster's

  -> You should look at Webster's definition 1a: FLUCTUATION, VACILLATION. Of course it has other meanings, as I mentioned.

neutral  Refugio: The addition of the 'ing's gives it a busy and active quality (like coming and going') that I believe rules out the meaning of indecision, which would be more likely to be represented by a phrase like 'back and forth' than by 'to and fro' (not 'from').
