Ver abajo Explanation: Internet host is defined as a computer that acts as a server. Podrías traducir la definición: Computador (ordenador en España) que actúa como un servidor en la Red (o en Internet). También lo he visto traducido como: Servidor anfitrión de la Red o Anfitrión de la red o Computador (ordenador)anfitrión de la Red (o internet). Espero que sirva de ayuda y no de confusión. proveedor de ..... Explanation: It depends on what you mean by internet host. Supposedly it is a hosting company who sells web space. This in English is often referred to as ISP (internet service provider) It is possible to use ISP in Spanish. (it is used in internet explorer documentation) If you want to be more specific you can say proveedor de ........ and say what service is being offered. Hosting can be used in Spanish but also you see "proveedor de espacio web" "almacenaje de espacio" "alojamiemto de páginas" "hospedaje de páginas" This vocabulary is so new that an accepted usage has not been established. If you are not sure, follow the examples used by a similar company. http://dominios.net is a good example. |
