Yo lo he visto siempre (en España) como "bungee jumping". El "puenting" también existe, pero es una modalidad que se realiza (como la palabra indica) saltando desde un puente (a veces incluso sumergiéndose en el río). El "bungee-jumping" se puede realizar desde una grúa, un globo, etc.
