Pedorthist es : Ask the Pedorthist: No More Foot Pain - [ Traduzca esta página ]
Our certified pedorthist can help you with your foot pain and problems and guide
to you in your choice of appropriate shoes. ... The Pedorthist. No More Foot Pain!

Pedorthic Association of Canada - [ Traduzca esta página ]
If you, or a member of your family are dealing with foot pain, are suffering from
a disease process which can affect your feet, circulation of sensation, or ...

According to the Pedorthic Footware Association (PFA) pedorthics is,"...the design, manufacture, modification and fit of footware, including foot orthoses, to alleviate foot problems caused by disease, overuse, congenital defect or injury. It's footware, carefully fitted, to relieve or accomodate temporary or permanent foot problems. It can look so 'mainstream' that others don't realize a foot problem exists. It costs less than most people expect. And it can help people stay healthy."

And The Board for Certification in Pedorthics (BCP) explains further that, "A Board-certified pedorthist is an individual who has studied foot anatomy and pathology, biomechanics, shoe construction and modification, foot orthosis fabrication and materials, footwear fitting, ...and who abides by BCP's Code of Ethics..."
