Watch out!!!! Explanation: I beg to difer with the colleague. As far as I know, "out of the box" describes a software package that is esay to install and works immediately the moment you take it (literally), "out of the box", i.e., a program that is easy to install and setup by a non technical user. I have translated as "de configuración fácil" or "instalación simple". I have not seen "out of the box" used as such in Spanish. The remainder of the paragraph xlates normally and "high end" means "de gran calidad" or "de primera" or whatever you want to use. |

Please see below Explanation: Es cierto que se suele encontrar la expresión "out-of-the-box" en la literatura, pero tenemos una buena traducción disponible en la palabra "preconfigurado" (es decir, ya configurado y listo para usar cuando se lo saca de la caja). Ver por ejemplo las direcciones adjuntas abajo. Por otra parte difiero en el párrafo que dice " ... es una plataforma". en realidad el original dice "... es independiente de la plataforma usada...".
