English term or phrase: hull sinker
I unfortunately do not have much context, it's a literary article that lists adjectives describing a literary style, here it is along with other words I've already transalted:

hull sinker, pulpo, algas, pelo, amarillo (el color más duro), pútrido, evaporante, evanescente, fijo, constante, pesado...

Spanish translation:hundidor de cascos/perforador de cascos?
Explanation:
That sounds like a strange manner to describe a literary style. Tell me which style is so I won't read it ;o)

The above is the only thing I could come up with, unless you want to put imagination to it and can give the meaning as "hundidor de animos" "que echa los animos por el suelo" ... "que hunde cascos/casquillos"

Interesting project. Happy translating! ;o)

Thank you so much for your suggestions! It's a really "strange" article to translate, just to give you an example, another term I'm working with is "hair floating" - it just appears by itself, no context, in this long list. Can't wait to finish, thanks again!
