English term or phrase: Greater Hallel
"Before the Lamb was eaten, the second cup of wine was filled...an account was given of the sufferings of the Israelites in Egypt and of their deliverance...and the first part of the Hallel (a contraction from Hallelujah), Psalm 113, 114 was sung...in later times. What was termed the greater Hallel, Psalm 120 to 138 was sung on such occasions".

gran hallel
Explanation:
(NAS).

Hallel: (Hebrew praise). A hymn of praise, consisting of Psalms 113 to 118 inclusive, sung at the four great Jewish feasts (O.E.D.) ...
