Hola a todos desde Venezuela. Mi sugerencia es no pelearnos con "la preposición" - eso daría la impresión de que queremos insistir en una traducción cuasi-semi-pseudo mecánico/lineal. Yo cambiaría la frase (en el texto fuente)por una que suene más "natural" y, luego, la traduciría con más facilidad... Suerte y, más importante, éxito.

sin duda es residencial, porque términos como doméstico o local, incluyen también el mercado comercial (por ej. empresas y tiendas), el mercado gubernamental, etc. etc. En este caso se refiere a venderles los productos a particulares, casas de familia, etc.

agree  Fabrizio Gatti: Sí, es vender / introducir "en" el mercado residencial y no al mercado residencial, o sea desenvolverse en el àmbito del mercado residencial.
